I am no theologian. My goal is not to teach doctrine, but to share with you the joy I find in Christ. My prayer is that this joy would become contagious, igniting a longing within you to know Jesus and to follow Him with every ounce of your being.
He really is my delight.
Eirene
Greetings Eirene,
It is refreshing to see such a desire to know the Lord, like I see in your writing. I thank our God for you and for all the others out there that walk with Him in utter humility and recognize our God what He is, holy; deserving and worthy of our whole being and not just part of our life…
a fellow laborer in Christ,
Christina
Amen!
If a person is ‘saved’ yet not happy in the moment, they are missing the whole point of salvation!
I happen to believe in a ‘funny’ Christ. A joyful man.
I always imagined him telling his disciples;
“Hey, you wanna recieve salvation? Then stop complaining and wash some feet! You gotta start somwhere!”
(in a Mel Brooks yiddish man accent of course. Or maybe Tevye from Fiddler On The Roof)
wonderful blog, Danielle…He promised to give us the desire of our hearts..how wonderful when HE is the desire of our heart…
Glad I found you. I’m subscribing!
Eirene it’s been a while since I’ve heard from you just checking in and hope all is well.God loves you and so do I.
Pttyann,
Thanks for checking on me. This is a very busy time for me at work, but other than that, all is well. I hope to return to my blog soon.
Blessings to you.
Good thoughts. Our precious Christ is beyond words. His presence makes such a difference in a life. AS Paul said,
1co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Ro 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
Again, Good post. thanks.
